Obituary of Robin L. Greindl
Robin Lynn Greindl of Rushville, NY passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 15. She was born September 18, 1953, in Rome, NY to William and Evelynn Greindl and grew up in Canandaigua, NY with three older brothers and two younger sisters. She had a deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Robin was loving and caring to all her family and friends. She had an infectious laugh and a beaming smile. She loved hosting family reunions, antiquing and flea markets, cooking, entertaining and being with family, her twin from another mother Dawn Lyons, her friends the dirty dozen, laughing and telling stories, being "Aunt Crow" and "Aunt Ribbles", her dog Spanky, the Yankees, drives and leaf peeping around Canandaigua Lake, and visiting family in Camden, NY and at Black Lake, NY. She loved taking slow pontoon cruises on Black Lake and sitting lakeside by the bonfire sharing jokes and stories. She was always making and delivering her homemade soup to any sick family member or friend. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver to her father and his dog Spanky. Throughout her life she waitressed at many restaurants in Canandaigua and was a bookkeeper for Coryn Farm Supplies for many years before retiring. Robin was predeceased by her parents, William and Evelynn Greindl, brother, Billy Greindl, brother Barry Greindl of Maine, and her dear friends Connie Wright and Lee Ann Rayburn. Robin is survived by her siblings: John Greindl of Atlanta, GA, Tamara O'Donnell (Mike Rowley) of Hopewell, Laurel Rhinehart (Rick) of Geneva, and sister-in-law Gail Greindl of Maine; nieces and nephews: Denise Incao (Sylvan), Christy Barnett (Jay), Hans Greindl (Jenn), Dana Greindl (Nancy), Reilly Figenscher (David), Tierney Bristol (Kane), Rachel Toranzo (David), Noah Rhinehart, Adam Rhinehart, and all the Healys and Brittons and Greindls from Camden, NY. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her. Our words cannot express enough the love she had in her heart for all and how large a void her passing has left in our lives, but we rejoice in her joining our Lord Jesus Christ. To honor Robin's wishes, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. A celebration of Robin's life is in the works and will take place at the convenience of the family in the spring. John 16:22 So also, you have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
