Obituary of Ruth E. Bellis

Ruth E. Bellis Macedon- Ruth Bellis, 74, passed away October 21, 2022. Friends may call Wednesday, October 26, from 3-6 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 AM funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. “I met Ruth in High School or so I thought, it turned out we were in first grade (1953) together. Ruth is a tough woman! Ruth is as complete a human as I ever met, a loving child, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Strong in self, family, love, loyalty, faith and compassion. Like every other Bell I know, stubborn in conflict. I have lots of photos of myself and Ruth from the various family trips taken throughout the years. What I see most is her smile and the apparent happy time she was having. It represents a little peek through the window of the love story the two of us shared. But, as we know, there are inexplicable detours in Life. If we are blessed to live long enough, we each have to accept pain as a condition of existence. Especially when it comes to saying final goodbyes to those we love.
