Obituary of Frank W. Fessner Sr.

Frank Fessner Sr., 77, Cato (formerly of Canandaigua), born February 20, 1945 passed November 30, 2022. Frank joined the US Navy in 1965 and was in radio communications aboard the naval aircraft carrier USS Lexington, stationed in Pensacola, Florida. During this time, he was chosen to be one of the members of the Honor Guard at J.F. Kennedy's Funeral. After the Navy, he enjoyed, hunting, fishing and electronics. He soon fell in love with his wife of 53 years, Sandra (Pratt) Fessner. As his family continued to grow, camping became a big part of his life, including being a member of the Happy Campers Club for over 30 years. He retired from Enarco Machine in Honeoye Falls and Home Depot in Clay. He was predeceased by his mother, Jane Gress Fessner; brother, Raymond Fessner; aunt, Virginia Gress; in-laws, Arlington and Doris Pratt. Frank is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Kimberly Bailey (Reginald); sons, Frank Fessner Jr. (Lisa), and Wayne Fessner (Julie); grandchildren, Steven B. Hurrin (Chandal), Chris Treadway (Jennifer), Sara Fessner (Red), Joe Paige (Courtney), Adrianne Paige, Shawna Sanford, Colton Fessner and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Fessner (Barbie), Terrance Fessner, Michael Fessner (Christine); sisters, Sybyl Van Patten, and Christine Blaser (Dan); several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, December 9, from 11 AM- 1 PM Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A 1 PM memorial service will follow at the funeral home. Reception following at Veterans Park, Rte. 5 & 20, Bloomfield.
