Obituary of Steven G. Poyzer

Steven Glenn Poyzer Canandaigua- Steven Poyzer, 71, passed on December 16, 2022 after a long illness. Left behind was his beloved wife, Gloria; children, Kim Davern, Kathleen (Robyn) Tauterouff, Lori (Tom) Barnett, daughter in-law, Janette Aruck; 12 grandchildren, Jim and (Jackie) Davern, Jon (Jessica) Davern, Dave (Alex) Goben, Venessa (Corey) Bogart, Craig (Lindsay) Tauterouff, Christopher (Jennifer) Tauterouff, Kristin (Will) St. Louis, Zachary (Kylee) Davern, Kalie (Wade) Ayers, Hannah (Matt) Dineen, Alexandria and Abigail Aruck and many great grandchildren. Steven was predeceased by his stepson, Michael Aruck. Steven had many talents and loved life. He was a talented musician and loved sharing his music with grandchildren. Steven was a tremendously hard worker having worked at General Motors, as well as working many years as a carpenter and builder. Steven also worked as a legislative aid and journalist. Most of all, Steven loved his family. Friends may call Saturday, January 7, from 2-4PM and 5-7PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 7PM memorial service will follow at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will take place 2PM, Sunday, January 8, at the Gorham Firehall.
