Obituary of Frank E. Lovin

Frank Edward Lovin, 87, of Canandaigua, NY, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 23, 2022, at Highland Hospital, Rochester, NY. Frank was born May 30, 1935, in Francis Mine, PA. The son of Peter Paul Lovin and Sophia Kosakowski-Lovin. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Sophia Lovin; sisters, Agnes Brandenburg, Ardis Navage, Vera Levanduski, Dorothy Tokash, and Alyce Barto; brothers, John Latwin, Joe Lovin, and Louis Lovin. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Wanda Mae Lovin; son, Timothy L. Lovin (Patty) of Canandaigua, NY; daughter, Carrie A. Morton, Kodiak, AK; grandchildren, Jessica Shaffer (Jacob), Lauren Lovin, Christopher Lovin, Nicholas Morton (Dia Matteson), and Sydney Jo Morton; great grandchildren, Emma, Lucy, Caleb, Levi, and Theodore Shaffer. Frank was a Madonna Del Castello Church member and President of the American Legion, Pgh., PA. Frank loved to fish, was a Steelers fan, and spent quality time with his family. Frank was a kind and caring man, and before his death, he was the caregiver for his wife. Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Frank's life will be at a later date.
