Obituary of Daniel F. Dreesen Jr.

Daniel F. Dreesen Jr. Canandaigua- Dan passed away at home on December 29, 2022, at the age of 79. Son of the late Margaret and Daniel Dressen, Sr. Dan was retired from Mobile Chemical, The Ontario County Human Society and The Ontario County ARC. He was a former Chief of the Crystal Beach Fire Department and an EMT. He was also a member of the Vine Valley Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His biggest adventure was his camping and fishing trip to Alaska with his wife. Every Friday night he would be at Canandaigua High School football games watching his grandkids. He was blessed with many grandchildren who are truly amazing, and they were his pride and joy. They made growing old so worth it. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, his sons, David (Leslie) and Brad. His stepchildren, Todd (Lisa), Andy (Amy), Carol (Todd), Jeremy (Laurie), Ray and extra daughter Camy Sheeley. His grandchildren, Emily (Brandon), Leah, Emerson, Dominick, Brady, Trey, Cody, Colby, Kyle, Mackenzie, and Ryan. His two fur babies, Sawyer and Piper and his favorite Aunt, Dorothy Cherry. Friends may call Tuesday, January 3, from 10 AM- 1 PM at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 1 PM funeral service will follow at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held 10 AM Wednesday, January 4, at South Farmington Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to Vine Valley Methodist Church in Dan’s memory.
