Obituary of Rita Marie Eddy

Rita Marie Eddy, 64, of Geneva, NY, passed away on January 29, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1958 to William and Mary (McGuire) Eddy. Rita leaves behind her siblings Stephen (Joan) and Paul (Roberta) all of South Bend IN, Martha DiCicco of Canandaigua NY, Joseph (Maureen) of Jupiter FL, Robert (Kathleen) of Watertown CT, Richard (Cynthia) of Preston CT, David (Mary Lou) of Norwich NY, sister-in-law Deborah Eddy (Clint) Moosman of Seneca Falls NY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents William and Mary, brother John Eddy, and brother-in-law William DiCicco. Rita was full of life, too legit, too legit to quit, but has now rested her hips in a lounge chair where they play Michael Jackson, dance to the oldies, and only serve desserts. She loved to dance, spend time with her friends from the ARC, a cocktail in the evening, donuts, and meals out with family. She could provide an affirmative "Oh Yeah!" to anyone with a question or comment, and enlivened everyone's life. The Family would like to thank Dr. Susan Landgraf, Dr. Steven Rich, the Ontario ARC, the staff at the Risser Rd. home in Canandaigua, and the staff at the White Springs Rd. home in Geneva, for their excellent care of our sister. At the request of the family in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Arc Ontario c/o Silver Connections, 3071 County Complex Drive, Canandaigua, NY 14424 (https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=8TU5PKJHQDNNC). A 10 AM funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 18, at St. Francis deSales Church, 130 Exchange Street, Geneva. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneva. Arrangements are under the care of Funeral Home, Inc. Canandaigua. To share a memory or express condolences online please visit www.fullerfh.com
