Shirley A. Simpson Obituary

Bristol- Shirley Ann Simpson, 86, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2023.


Shirley was born on October 15, 1936 to the late Donald and Dorella Pridmore. She was a graduate of Naples High School.


Shirley's career was at Merrill Lynch and UBS before her retirement. She enjoyed being active in her community and traveling and documenting her family's heritage. Shirley was also a collector of fine antiques. Shirley and her late husband, Jim, were involved with the Huntington Militia Group and the Brigade of the American Revolution, where they would perform military reenactments.


Shirley was married to James Simpson for 55 years prior to his passing in early 2013.Shirley is survived by siblings Joanne Lincoln (Mert), Robert Pridmore (Lee), Susan Rennoldson (Rick) Debra Miles (Monty) and many nieces and nephews. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband James Simpson, and siblings Ed Pridmore (Janice), Richard Pridmore (Luanne), Gary Pridmore (Susan), Janet Stafford (Jim), and Judith Bruck (Dick).


A burial service will be held at Rose Ridge Cemetery in Naples. Please contact family for date and time. A celebration of life will immediately follow.
