Obituary of Nicole C. Casellas

Nicole, Christine Casellas, 47, formerly of Shortsville, New York, passed away, surrounded by family and friends on March 27, 2023. Nicole was born on April 25, 1975 to Christopher Stambach in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was born with a caring soul that she has shared with the world, a deep love for her three sons, and a steadfast, loyalty to her friends and family. She is survived by her fiancé, Joel Jenealt of Farmington, New York, her three sons, Christopher, Samuel, Henry, her bonus son, Jay, and grand dog Sage. She is also survived by her sister, Melanie (Stambach) Cunningham, brother in-law Michael, and nephews Matthew and Collin of Grove City, Ohio as well as many other beloved, family and friends. Nicole is pre-deceased by her father Christopher Stambach who she had an unforgettable love for. Nicole graduated from Red Jacket Central High School in 1993 and went on to graduate from SUNY Cobleskill College with a four-year degree in Education. After graduating college, she started her family (which was the most important role she had in life) while pursuing a Master's degree in education from Nazareth College. Nicole shared her love of teaching at the Happiness House where she worked with children with special needs. Visitation will be held at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua on April 5, 2023 from 5-7pm. A memorial mass in remembrance of her life will be held at Saint Dominic’s Catholic Church in Shortsville, New York on April 22, 2023 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers her children would request a tree to be planted in her honor as a symbol of her spirit, continuing to thrive and protect.
