Obituary of Joanne M. Salmon

Joanne Salmon has left to be with her daughter Lisa and her grandson Vincenzo, and all our loved ones that have passed on. She was a fighter and strong as hell, she always held it together to help everyone, she loved hard and always put everyone first. She was selfless and did so much for so many. Her love will never be forgotten. She passed November 12th at 9:26pm. She passed peacefully and was surrounded by her family in the last few days before her passing. We listened to country music and looked at pictures and even watched her favorite show "Raymond." Her grandson covered her in stickers, and we all held her close. She knew we were there, and she waited for us to all be there and held out as long as she could. Now she will join the Angels and she is no longer in pain and resting. Until we see you again mom… She was born on October 6, 1945, in Monsey, PA, the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Baylor. Raised and educated in Bloomfield NY. She went to RBI and graduated as a stenographer. She was united in marriage to Dean Lawrence Salmon in the Bloomfield Congregational Church. She first worked at Kodak as an Executive Secretary then at Canandaigua Primary School as a Special Education Teacher Assistant where she retired. She was a friend to many and enjoyed helping others asking nothing in return. Upon her retirement she was shortly diagnosed with Dementia She enjoyed spending time with family this was important to her as her family was her pride and joy. She will be sadly missed. Surviving is her devoted husband of 54 years, son Matthew and Daughter Melissa and Grandson Angelo. Joanne leaves behind her 3 brothers.
