Obituary of Steve J. Morlang Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Morlang Sr on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. Steven was a devoted partner to Barbara Hoke and a loving father to his four children – Steven Morlang Jr, Greg (Stacy Plate) Morlang, Kimberly (James) Ashworth, and Ashley (Paul) Norcott. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Amber, Ethan, Hannah, and Harper and found immense joy in the company of his extended family. Steven, a proud Army veteran, served his country with honor from 1969 to 1972. His commitment and dedication extended beyond his military service, as he carried those values into every aspect of his life. Steven was a man of action, finding fulfillment in working with his hands. Whether it was through his love for fishing, hunting, or simply staying busy with various projects, he embraced the outdoors and the satisfaction of a job well done. While Steven was a man of few words, the love he had for his family was expressed through his actions, and it resonated deeply with those fortunate enough to know him. To celebrate Steven's life, we kindly invite you to a memorial gathering on February 8th, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Fuller Funeral Home, located at 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Following the calling hours, there will be a celebration of life dinner, located at 2654 Edwards Rd, Waterloo, NY 13165 to honor the memory of this beloved family man.
