Carl R. "Butch" Fuhrmann Obituary

Butch Fuhrmann passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at the age of 73.


Butch leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Debbie Fuhrmann from Canandaigua; sons, Dan Fuhrmann (Kathy Burgess) Canandaigua, Steve Fuhrmann (Jenn Unger) Shortsville; grandchildren, Nick Fuhrmann (Cammi), Ella Fuhrmann, Caitlin Holton (Jesse), Nate Unger, Alyssa Fuhrmann; brothers, John Fuhrmann, Jim Morse (Chris), Mike Morse (Carol); sisters, Judy Fuhrmann, Cathy Morsch, Jean Fuhrmann, Carol Kuchman, Dawn Wooledge (Mike) and several nieces and nephews.


Butch enlisted into the US Navy in 1969. He served on the aircraft carrier USS Lexington until 1972 and was in the reserves until 1975. He started his machinist career of 40 years at Sybron (Gentinge) Castle in Rochester, NY retiring at the age of 62.


The family wishes to extend their gratitude to amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY and VA in Canandaigua, NY
