Obituary of Mina E. Ford

Mina Ford, of East Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at FF Thompson Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1943. Mina graduated from Utica Free Academy in 1961. She worked at Flightline Systems, Flightline Electronics in Information Transfer Electronics. Mina enjoyed studying the bible and religion, gardening, genealogy and crafts. Some of Mina's contributions included The Blessing Room in Bloomfield and the Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Hopewell, NY. Mina was predeceased by her parents, George, and Helena (Hartnett) Slater and her brothers Jack, William, and Robert Slater. She is survived by her husband Roger Ford; her children Deborah (Fred) Wilson of Harrison, AR; Victoria (Dave Cosner) Allen of Rochester, NY; Michael (JoAnna Silva) Ford of Albuquerque, NM; and Kristin (Doug) Clauss of Bloomfield, NY; her grandchildren Joe and McKinsey Wilson; Payton, Bailey and Conrad Allen; Chance, Mason and Alex Ford; Kate and Ty Clauss; her sister Patricia (Robert) Spatuzzi of Utica, NY and many nieces and cousins.
