Obituary of Melissa D. Mourer

Melissa Daisy Mourer (Snyder), 30, of Canandaigua, NY passed away unexpectedly on May 26th 2024. She is predeceased by her mother, Christina Snyder, grandmother Mary Snyder, and step-sister Sarah Williams (Johnson). Melissa was born in Canandaigua to Christina Snyder and James Snyder on December 23, 1993. She was a compassionate, loving individual whose passion for drawing was only surpassed by the love she had for her children and boundless love for others. She would always try to help a loved one in need regardless of cost to herself. Despite life's battles, one thing that never changed, was her love for her children as they're who helped her though life's most stormy of seas. Melissa is survived by her children, Jada, Kaymaria, Chrislynn, Justin and stepdaughter Anabelle. Her father James (Lorie) Snyder, her brothers James (Christina) Merkley, Steven Snyder and step-sisters Michelle (Ben) Ingerson and Amanda (JJ) Kreidler as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her Aunt Doreen (Joe) Merkley-Corino, Aunt Amy (Kevin) Goodemote and many more aunts, uncles and cousins who love and miss her tremendously, her grandmother Esther Brown, Grandfathers David (Debbie) Merkley and Charles Snyder, her husband Larry Mourer, sister-in-law Mary Mourer and their family. There are many others who loved her, and were blessed to know her. Calling hours will be held June 7th from 2 to 4pm, at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua, immediately following will be funeral services. There will be a celebration of life which will held on Sunday June 9th at Moose Lodge, 305 Ontario St Ext, Canandaigua from 1pm to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to NAMI or any other mental health organization of your choosing in memory of Mel.
