Just seeing Lois's notice, and as I read through, I had such fond thoughts of Lois and Leo. As a young nurse at the VA, I met Lois and Leo. Both of us lived on North Road in Canandaigua, and Leo informed me that each year Lois decided which room in their house would they remodel. One characteristic that stood out with Leo and Lois was the love they had for each other. All couples should experience the fun they had, the understanding of each other's idiosyncrasies and acceptance of them, and most of all, enjoying being together. Lois taught me a lot; she was very smart. Most important, however was her dedication to veterans especially those who were experiencing psychological problems. Thanks for your friendship. Peace to you on your journey to another place.
