Obituary of Cheryl A. Hildebrandt

Cheryl Ann (Davis) Hildebrandt, a lifelong resident of Canandaigua, New York passed away suddenly on September 4, 2024, at Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy and attended Finger Lakes Community College. A long-time day-care provider, Cheryl enjoyed all of the children that she cared for over many years. She was also a breeder of multi-Poo puppies. Cheryl enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Many wonderful memories were made at the family home on Canandaigua Lake. Her greatest treasure in life was her children and their families. Cheryl was pre-deceased by her mother, Phyllis Davis, and survived by her father, Frank Davis, brother Shawn (Donna), daughter Laura Jensen, son Kyle (Jini) Hildebrandt, Amy (Rick) Vanopdorp, grandchildren Lauren, Liana, Lily, Laila, Liam, Mason, Aria, Joseph and Mara, great-grandchildren Fernadine, and Acer, several nieces and nephews, and many cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday morning September 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church. Interment will be at Chapman Cemetery in Hopewell.
