Obituary of Michael A. Personale

Michael Angelo Personale died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Born January 10, 1987, in Rochester NY, Michael was a 2005 graduate of Canandaigua Academy. To everyone who knew him, Michael was a happy man who said ‘I Love You’ every time he saw you. His wonderful sense of humor would just brighten your day. Family meant everything to Michael. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He loved his role as big brother to Stephen and Kurtis offering unconditional love and support. When he was younger, Michael enjoyed competing at the national level as an inline speed skater with his brothers. He also enjoyed golfing and played with his Uncle George in the Majestic Hills Monday night golf league. He appreciated all the guys who played there. Michael worked as a HVAC service technician for Halco. He was a hard worker and well-liked by everyone. When it came to sports, his favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Mets. Michael loved his family and would make a point to tell them that he loved them and appreciated them as often as possible. He is survived by his mother Maryellen (Brian) Fannon, his father, Stephen James Personale, brothers Stephen John (Laura) Personale, Kurtis Jeffery Fannon, step-father PJ Fannon, and step-daughter Izzy Manaco. His aunts and uncles Michael (Sheila) Personale, Dave (Laura) Personale, Linda (Larry) Bornheimer, Martin (Cathy) Gardner, Arthur (Kathy) Gardner, Timothy (Melanie) Gardner, Laurie (William) Miggins Jr., Denee J. (George) Martin, niece Madelyn Personale, nephew Austin Personale, and “Uncle” Johnny Miggins as well as numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Michael Angelo and Elaine K. Personale, maternal grandfather John F. Gardner, Aunt Donna (Personale) Gagne, Uncle Frank D. Gardner, sister-in law Courtney Fannon, and niece Hadley Fannon. Visitation will be Monday, September 23, 2024, from 4 pm - 7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo Street Canandaigua, NY. A Memorial Mass will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mary’s Church, 95 North Main St, Canandaigua. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Clark Street, Canandaigua NY. A celebration of life will immediately follow at the Elks Lodge, 19 Niagara Street, Canandaigua. The family would appreciate friends sharing any stories or pictures at the celebration.
