Obituary of Keith Kirchhoff

Keith Kirchhoff passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 66 in his hometown of Rochester, New York. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Keith was born on October 30, 1957 in Rochester where he lived most of his life along with several years in Erwin, Tennessee. Keith very much enjoyed working with his hands and on all kinds of projects from automotive to computer. Keith valued his friendships and could carry on a conversation with anyone. He took on the nickname “Sarge” while working at an Appalachian Trail rest stop where he would support campers and hikers who came to know his kindness. He was very fond of the basset hounds he raised, particularly his buddy Boomer. He is survived by his daughter Victoria Spike (Travis), granddaughter Avery, son Andrew and family, nephew Brian Kirchhoff and former spouse and mother of his children Mona Kirchhoff.
