Canandaigua – Dean Lawrence Salmon, born on December 7th, 1943 in Rochester, NY was sent to his eternal home on October 22nd, 2024 in Canandaigua, NY. He was the beloved son of Albert and Ruth Salmon of Penfield, NY.

Dean, a one-of-a-kind soul who brought laughter and light to everyone he met will be deeply missed. His fiery, unapologetic humor, and knack for telling like it is will never be replaced.

Dean is survived by his daughter Melissa Ann Salmon - Saravia, son Matthew Dean Salmon, grandson Angelo Vincenzo Salmon, Son in Law Giovanni Saravia, Daughter In Law Diana Salmon. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

A celebration of Dean’s life will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at the First Congregational Church of East Bloomfield, New York at 1:30pm. Military burial to follow.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.
