Cathy Goodall (1954 - 2024)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Cathy Goodall, who peacefully left us on November 4th. Cathy was born in Pennsylvania to William and Johanna Vishneski, who predeceased her.
A proud graduate of Manchester-Shortsville High School, Cathy spent many years working at Mobil Chemical, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. In her personal life, she was a loving and devoted mother to her three daughters, Kelly (Jesse), Kerry (Jeremy), and Kara (Jason), and a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: Felix, Madalynn, Ethan, and Ainsleigh.
In addition to her family, Cathy leaves behind her partner of several years, Tom, who shared many of her joys and passions.
Cathy's vibrant spirit was reflected in her many interests. She loved softball and bowling, enjoyed tending to her yard and gardens, and had a special place in her heart for animals. Crafting and camping also brought her great happiness, and she created countless memories during many outdoor adventures.
Cathy's life will be celebrated later, as per her wishes, to allow friends and family the opportunity to come together in her memory. Cathy touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In place of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to theColonyCaregivers.org in her honor. This Shortsville non-profit was incredibly close to her heart.
May she rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
