For the four and a half years I knew him, he was a wonderful and caring person. He was very generous and fun to spend time with. I loved meeting all his friends and family in Rochester - his brother Greg son Willis, mother Elizabeth and granddaughter Lilly. I miss him terribly.

Mrs. Mitchell and Greg, I was sad to hear of Dave's passing. I will always remember what great times we had playing ice hockey in those cold winters and racing motocross in the summer! We had so much fun! I lost touch with him after I moved south but always enjoyed the great memories of the times we had together. I am so sorry for your loss. Clay Avedisian

Mrs. Mitchell, Greg and all of David's beloved!
I am so sorry for your loss! As you may remember, David and I grew-up together including Cub Scouts with Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell as the Cub Pack leaders (and Greg was the "little-brother" that represented the title well)!
David and I last spoke 10 yers ago! However, it was like we had seen each other over all the years continuoslly!
He had a great smile and I loved and respected his trombone playing skills!
Dave was and will always remain, my little buddy!
God Bless!
Sincerely,
Jim Housel

I am quite saddened to learn about David's passing. It has been many, many years since I last saw him. Going through the Canandaigua school system (he was a school year older than me) we shared many laughs allowing people to believe that we were related due to our last names. He always called me "Cuz".
His obituary leaves me with a sense that his life was productive, full of many good times enjoying his many interests, and sharing love with his family.
I hope that Mrs. Mitchell and Greg might have some memory of me as I offer my deep and very sincere sympathy.
Jay Mitchell

Please respect our mother s wishes and that is that the service private. Please instead of flowers, you may donate to the first United Methodist Church of Canandaigua, or a charity of your choice.
My brother is resting in peace rebuilding cars up above.
