Obituary of Robert E. Marshall

Robert Marshall (Bob), age 71, of Canandaigua, NY, passed away on December 31, 2024. Bob was born in Amityville, NY and grew up in Lindenhurst on Long Island. Bob graduated from Fredonia College where he met his wife and many life-long friends. Bob enjoyed serving the church as a pastor for many years and later with a worship team and as a custodian. After retiring, he served with the Hopewell Fire Department. He loved history and traveling to new places where he would visit museums and historical sites. He read many, many books and always had more to read. Bob was a joyful man who loved God, his wife, his children and grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife, Deb; his children, Jannette (James) Isaacson, Robert A (Kasi) Marshall, and Charles (Patrick Kenney) Marshall; his grandchildren, Jacqi, Brennan, Rosemary, and Connor Isaacson and Isabelle, Briannah, and Jacob Marshall; and his sister, Gail Golden and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry A Marshall, Jr, and Marion Ensign Marshall, and his brother, Harry A Marshall, III. A celebration of life service will be held at Crosswinds Church on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11 am.
