Obituary of Darrell G. Ribble Sr.

Darrell Gene Ribble Sr., 65, of Canandaigua NY, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Thompson Hospital. Born in Canandaigua NY, he was the son of Donald and Alberta (Seely) Ribble Sr. In addition to his parents, Darrell was predeceased by his wife and best friend Chiara, brother Charles Sr., grandchildren Willow Ann and Lodie David, niece Melissa and nephew Brandon. He is survived by his daughter Melinda, son Darrell Jr, grandson Carter, brothers Donald Jr. (Cheryl), Richard (Laurie), James (Karen) and Michael, sister Tina Backus, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He worked for the City of Canandaigua DPW for 30 years and then retired. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Baker Park 185 Buffalo St. Canandaigua.
