Sandra L. Goff Obituary

Sandra Lee "Sandy" Goff, 77, of Shortsville, New York, passed away on January 17th, 2025, following a brief Hospice stay at Rochester General Hospital.


Sandy was born in Canandaigua, New York, to Lloyd and Miriam Eddinger on August 6, 1947. She attended Canandaigua Academy and firmly planted her roots in the Canandaigua area.


Sandy was an avid gardener, enjoying both vegetable and flower growing. In addition, she was known for her "green thumb" with her house plants. She had an extraordinary heart for neglected or abandoned cats and was often called upon when a furry friend required a loving home.


Sandy is survived by her children, Patricia (Timothy) Lovin of Canandaigua and Robert (Carmen) Pippin of Staley, North Carolina. In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren, Miriam Lee (Ben) Fish, Joseph (Morgan) Pippin, Lauren Lovin, Christopher Lovin and Sara (Nathan) Cockman along with several great grandchildren. She is also is survived by her sister, Marlene Pierce and her brother, Ronald (Beverly) Eddinger in addition to several nieces and nephews.


She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Frederick Goff, as well as several brothers and sisters.


Memorial donations in Sandy's name may be made to an animal shelter of choice.
