Darla and I worked at the canteen at the VA hospital in Canandaigua. Darla loved cooking for the Veterans. She always had the utmost respect for all veterans and staff who served theVeterans. Are goal was to see how many people we could get to smile and laugh. We had a Veteran that called us Lucy and Ethel. You were so well loved while you were here and there’s a big void in my heart now, but I know you’re with the Lord. till we see each other again, love you, Darla.
