Ann Marie Marinello A resident of Canandaigua for over fifty years Canandaigua- Ann M. Marinello, our beloved mother, passed away peacefully July 19, 2014 at the Hospeace House in Naples, at age 95. Born in Brooklyn, NY July 19th, 1919 to the late Carmela and Michael Del Verne, Ann was the oldest of eight children with five sisters and two brothers. She married her loving husband, the late Dr. Joseph Marinello, in 1938. Together they lived in numerous places on the east coast while he served with the US Army Medical Corps. They moved to Tupper Lake, NY in 1949 where Joe cared for patients at the VA Hospital. Transferring to the Canandaigua VA in 1963, they enjoyed raising their family. Ann moved to Quail Summit in 2002 and has lived life fully in Canandaigua for the past 50 years. She was well known in the community as the “Goodwill Ambassador” with a remarkable attitude and kindness towards all. Her daily life included serving others, playing bridge, travel, baking, crocheting and volunteering. Ann was blessed with a direct line to God. She was an incredible mother, friend and companion. She has impacted countless lives and will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joanie and a son, Tom. Ann is survived by six children, Joe & family (NY), John & family (RI), Mary Ann & family (NH), Paul & family (OR), Linda & husband (MA), Rita & family (NY); 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday July 24 from 3-7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be held Friday July 25 at St. Mary’s Church; 95 N.
