I feel very fortunate to have had Mom "Mimi" as my Mother in law since 1983. She was a ray of sunshine in all of our lives and we talked on the phone or visited every week and she was always excited to hear about the current things that were happening in our lives. She always told the best stories and she knew how to make any day fun. Thanks for all you have given us Mom we love you so much...

I had the privilege of knowing Mimi and she was always kind. She kept a positive attitude and she completely and unconditionally loved her family. She will be missed.

Our Mom was loving and caring, and made each of us feel very special. She was always there for us when we needed her. Where ever Mom was we wanted to be.
When we went to Mom's and Dad's home they were always so
happy to see us. It didnt matter how many people there were, she made sure we had a warm dinner and a clean bed to sleep in.
Our Mom was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Our summers were spent in Nova Scotia, where we were steeped in Celtic music and dance and enjoyed the beautiful coastal landscape. Every day was a gathering of family, storytelling and good times.
Mom had a fighting spirit; she never gave up. She believed that she would get better and that there would be a tomorrow. But now her time on earth is over and she can rest peacefully. Shes in heaven, with those that passed before her, and one day we'll be there, for home is
where Mom is.
I love you and I'm going to miss you,
Sandra
