Jo, not only were my neighbor, but you have been a big part of my live for fifty some years. You have always been there for your family and friends, and you will always be remembered as one great lady - and always with a smile on your face. May God always bless and watch over you.

Jo will be fondly remembered by me as a great neighbor and friend. I loved our frequent lively chats (be they in person or via the phone) and her newsy letters and cards. I have known her all of my life and it is sad to think that when I come home to Canandaigua she will not be next door. However, I find comfort in the countless, wonderful memories that I have of her. She was a great lady with numerous impressive accomplishments. She will be missed by many and I will think of her often.

For Brenda, whom I met with many times, and Jane: I knew Jo for many years and feel a certain connection with her. I was also born in Olean, exactly 20 years later to the day, sharing a birthday with Jo. We worked together on her income tax for years; she had an amazing mind and knew exactly what was what with her finances. I loved the woman she was and had great admiration for her amazing life. I'll miss her.

I will miss Aunt Jo more than anything. After my grandma passed she took her place. Gave me words of wisdom, wished me the best, was always there for me. Her letters I shall cherish forever. I can't wait to share them with my nephew and niece I am so proud of their history.

I will miss Aunt Jo for her stories. We would spend many hours and letters remembering the "old"times when Grandma and Grandpa Reading were alive. We used to look at the pictures together and she would fill in the details. Aunt Jo is now with all the people we used to remember and I know she is telling stories aboiut those of us left on earth.

I am so glad that Aunt Jo called me recently just to say Hi. She knew I loved her and thought of her often, and I knew she did, too. She was the last leaf on the Reading tree and we will miss her very much.
