To the Family of Dorothy Fingado---
My mother Cora (Green) Barney
(now 94 and a resident of The
Chestnut Park Nursing Home, Oneonta, NY) asked me to e-mail you with her condolences
on the passing of your mother.
She told me that when she and
Dorothy were young Dorothy would come and stay a week at her home in West Oneonta and then Mother (Cora) would go go spend a week with Dorothy on Briar Creek.
Mother said that her sisters
Velma and Ruth plus their brother Owen would be included on the visits to Briar Creek. Velma and Owen
have passed away and Ruth is
in a nursing home in Akron, Ohio.
From talking with mother it sounds like they all enjoyed
each others company and had a good time on the visits.

Dear Allen family we are saddened to hear of your mom and grandma's passing. Although praising that she is with her Lord. I remember the times she used to visit before moving here. She was a wonderful woman. Everyone who met her was blessed. d

Dear Donna and Lois....I'm so glad that your mom got to be with you during these last few years. I'm sure it made a huge difference for her. I think of you two so often and fondly.
Roger really thought the world of you both and was happy that you had reconnected with Grampa.
I hope that you're both well and happy and that someday our paths may cross again.
