I was one of Jean's aides.I feel very fortunate and blessed to have met her and and some of her family, she was very proud of each and everyone of them. She showed me some of quilts and in conversations I found out that she had gotten some of quilting supplies from my Aunt Arlene Lee's shop in Rushville. I helped her with wrapping Christmas presents last year, we had fun.
Every time I would drive through Bloomfield and pass by her place I would give a little wave, even though I knew she couldn't see me from the back room I would get a warm feeling and smile to my next destination.
God Bless you Jean,
Diane Patton

Jean was a dear heart to know and will be missed. She always would have smile no matter how bad things seemed. It was a pleasure to know her and be allowed to serve her. Our thoughts go out to Kim and Scott and all the family during these times. God bless you all. Geoff and Jane Hallstead.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Hogg having grown up across the street from the family and at one point living with them when my parents were separating. My family didn't have much money so Mrs. Hogg offered to make my prom dress, it was yellow dotted swiss material and turned out beautiful, I'll never forget her kindess to me and my family.
