To the Lehman family,
I wanted to extend my condolences on behalf of my family members. They all loved getting to know Eileen over the years.
My parents, my sisters, my nephew Luke, and neice Josie were all especially touched by Eileen's warmth and laughter.
If you knew Eileen for even a short while, you knew you had met someone wonderful who made you feel wonderful.
I have heard that many times in the past few weeks. She will be forever in our hearts.
Love, Julie

I wish to extend my most heartfelt sympathies to Eileen's family and all who love her. Although I only worked with Eileen at Ontario County for a brief time, her character, disposition, and infectious laugh have always remained with me. To this day I recall the wonderful relationship we had, from joking about clogging to tackling issues in the office. Godspeed Eileen, and may God give all those that love you strength and comfort in this difficult time.

I wish I could be there to grieve with you all and share hugs, but also to celebrate a life beautifully lived. I can't imagine a more powerful life of faith, and a light to the world, and words cannot describe her beauty and gusto. I'm honored to have had Eileen as a wonderful neighbor and babysitter. She fit more true life into 43 years than most do in a lifetime.

I am privileged to have many memories of Eileen, from our childhoods, high school, National Honor Society, then as adults our paths crossed again. I loved seeing her at her nieces' events as they corresponded with my children's. I'll miss her so much at those events and at our class reunion picnics. I'm a better person for having known Eileen. My sympathy and love go out to all her beloved family.

Chuck and Sandy, You should be very proud of Elleen. You have alot of loving memories of her growing up and being a wonderful adult. She set her goals and didn't let anything get in her way and achieved much in her life. Elleen had faith in God and he gave her the strength to deal with what was ahead for her each day. We remember Elleen at the Steam Show in Hopewell. Where she and her brother Robert danced and clogged for the people who attended. And also at the Wayne County Fair when Elleen and the group of cloggers performed for the fair goes to enjoy. Your in our thoughts and prayers. Comforting to know that Elleen is up above with God and is now a shinning angel. Roger and Patty Shaner

Eileen was given a tough break since she was born but she never let it get her down. She was never one to say "why me Lord?" She was the one to march out front and show everyone else that nothing was going to stop her. I told her once that I wish I had her courage and strength to go thru what she has had to endure. She is our "shining light" that we all aspire to achieve and she will never be forgotten. Besides she will not let us forget her. Even without her voice, we can still hear her laugh. God has blessed her and especially us for the privilege to know her. Love to you Eileen.

Jim Valvano, in his famouse ESPY award speech, said "Cancer can take away all my physical ability. (but) it cannot touch my mind; it cannot touch my heart; and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever." - No one demonstrated that sentiment better than Eileen. My wife Cathy and Eileen were friends from elementary school on, so when I started dating Cathy 20+ years ago, Eileen was just part of the deal, and I truly enjoyed the experience of getting to know and love her as a great friend of our family. In addition to our NY visits, she came down to visit us in Virginia many times, including a memorable trip to the beach she loved to play games with our kids and didnt hesitate a moment to chew out our eldest when she caught him cheating at chess (and boy, he didnt do it again Eileen may have been tiny, but she had a core of steel!). After she got sick, she and Cathy would talk for hours on the phone and I think it was always cathartic for both of them. Cathy will miss those calls and we all will miss her visits. Almost 10 years ago to the day, we found out (somewhat unexpectedly!) that we were expecting our third child, and it would be a girl. We discussed at some length a first name, but never really talked at all about the middle name we both knew deep down what it would be. Eileen may be gone physically, but as Jimmy V. said, she will carry on forever. Jeff, Cathy, Ryan, Peter and Sarah Eileen Loomis

I am sure God has a very special place for Eileen. She certainly has showed her strenght, faith and love. Such a long time to go thru all that she has. I still think of her, Bobby and our two kids just as that kids. Going to the square dances at the grange, watching Eileen with the other kids clogging.
She will be missed by so many and yet so many are glad she is at peace and out of pain.
Sandy and Charlie our heartfelt condolences go out to you both. Have strength and know that Eileen will be missed but never forgotten.
Our love and prayers to you both. God Bless

Eileen is one of two women I've known who had the drive, strength, courage, and determination to not let a horrid disease keep them from doing the things they loved. They're together now and I expect that there's a new heavenly clogging team being formed as a result.

Eileen is the most courageous woman I have ever known. I loved her quirk of a smile and laughter. Eileen was our guardian angel that has inspired everyone that met her. We are all blessed to have her as our friend. I'm sure Eileen is up in heaven telling the Big Guy he needs to get this world back on track and teaching him to clog. Love ya Eileen, I'll miss you. I met Eileen when I was very little thanks to my Aunt Karen Bowers. I grew so found of her that I started to call her Aunt Eileen. She was always a pleasure to be around, cracked a joke on touchy subjects, which will be sorely missed. I just wish that I talked to her more throughout the years. God bless

Hi, I am Karen Bower's cousin and met Eileen on many occasions over the years. She was such a wonderful spirit and I can still see her clogging around on that stage. Her courage and strength handling what life dealt her is something to aspire to. I know she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. I hope her loving memories will give you some comfort in the coming days and years.

My sincere sympathy to the family of the dearest woman I know, Eileen. Although I share in your grief at Our loss I celebrate Eileen's gain of a life with no limitations, pain or suffering. I believe that Eileen was put on this earth to show the rest of us what courage, strength and the love for life truly means. I know that she is now with Jesus and is the most beautiful, petite and "chatty" angel in heaven. May God Bless you and hold you in his loving arms during this time of your loss. May he also reassure you that Eileen is now in a better place where she can smile once more and share that loving spirit that we all cherished her for. She will be missed but more importantly, she will be remembered with love.
God Bless - Laurie Card

Our prayers are with the family of Eileen. I only knew her through Debbie Henderson and Betty S. but she did know how we were. She was a very strong woman. It is very hard to loose a child. I lost a 18 year old son 7 years ago, but always remember the good things not the bad things about the "child".

Eileen,
I have so many memories, but one that stands out is when we both were bidding on a sewing machine wooden cabinet and you won. A couple of years later you realized that you didn't have room and offered it to me. I will always remember how generous you were then and always. You were always so good to everyone!
You will be missed,
