James S. Mays

Canandaigua- James S. Mays, former resident of Elmira, NY, passed away on September 22, 2017 at FF. Thompson Hospital Canandaigua.

James is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Marian Mays; sons, Stephen and Lee Miller; mother, Eunice Dunn; brother, Randy Mays; sister, Joanne Marion; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his dog Snowball, Patrick the bird; and one of his best friends, Tom.

He was predeceased by his father, Stewart Mays.

James served with the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked for himself as an electrician for many years.

Friends may call Thursday, September 28, from 2-4 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 4pm funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Campbell, NY, at the convenience of the family.
