I was so sorry to hear about Val. She was such a sweetie. I met both Tam and Val when they were tiny little peanuts dancing around the living room whenever I went to visit their mom.
The only consolation is that she is now reunited with her twin and her awesome mom, in heaven, without a doubt.
Val will be missed.

Val was one of my first friends when I moved to Victor and started 6th grade. I believe we were in homeroom together thru the years as she was a c and me an a last name. We also was in chorus together too. I believe she introduced me to a few people that I have been friends with for 40 years. We just reconnected on facebook a few years ago and suggested old classmates to her which they all seemed to accept and remember her. I always invited her to my gatherings since moving back here in 2012 but we never got together.RIP my old friend love your friend Bill Askin Victor class of 83

I met Val in our 5th grade homeroom. We spent hours that year making designs out of Elmer's glue and markers. She was much better at it than me. During one of those times Val taught me how wrong it was to hate and how we all had to be willing to forgive. This was unheard of in my family. But through the years I have applied what Val taught me and she was right. Because of her words the cycle of unforgiveness in my family ended. I will never be able to replay her for that.
My condolences to her family. She is a one of a kind person. I can only imagine the welcome she received as she made her way home to heaven.
