Rest In Peace to my Uncle Don who I will always remember as an amazing inspiration! He was kind, with a great sense of humor, involved in doing great things in the community, and dedicated to things he loved and believed in. My thoughts and prayers are with the rest of his family during this difficult time.

This fine gentleman put many a smile on my face. Knowing him, I'm kinda thinking. He's doing the same thing somewhere else now. I will sure miss the times I got to just listen & share some of those smiles.

Don was one amazing man. I always received a smile and a hug every time I saw him. I had the pleasure of meeting Don through Red Jacket Rotary. He was always first in line to volunteer for anything and everything that was needed. I have great memories of Don at Rotary functions, including ringing the Salvation Army bell at Bliss Shurfine - just singing and ringing! And the many hot days at the Steam Pageant standing over the hot grill for hours. My deepest memory of Don is when he found out I wasn't able to pay my dues one year due to my being out of work. He became my Secret Santa and made sure that my dues were paid so that I didn't miss out on my membership. Just an amazing man. He will be missed by so many. Prayers to the family in their time of mourning, but let the great times carry you forward.

Don had been part of Rick's family for 30 years, being married to his mother for 25 years We cherish the memory of their love for each other.
It is sad to think he is not just up the driveway from us. Rick has many fond memories of Don and their enthusium for antique cars. He fit right in with all the car people and they all thought the world of him.
Don and I had a special friendship since Emily's passing. We became regulars at Rays restaurant and all the waitresses treated him with such kindness. We had many laughs in those hours.
Now he is with his Emily, and sad no more.
Missing you,
Rick Bauer and Marcia Rajca
