Debbie was such a wonderful person, who I had the pleasure to know. She was always so fun and kind and caring. I had not seen in her in some years. She always had a smile and was always interested in how everyone was doing. She was a great mentor to my sister-in-law when she was battling her breast cancer. She was so helpful and caring. I'm sorry she suffered so, but is free of pain now. May she be at peace ~ Thinking of her family at this difficult time. Hold onto the memories always ~ ~

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Debbie was an amazing nurse that I had the pleasure of working with. She had the heart of gold, such a beautiful soul who was so caring. I will pray for her and you for strength to get through this, as you learn to live with this pain in your family. There are no words that can express how sorry I am for you, some say time helps, but after loosing someone very close to me, time helps you learn to live with the grief, but it is always there. She will be remembered by many. Hugs. Love, Jennifer Clapp I worked with her at Clifton Springs Hospital on W2

Debbie was the kindest, sweetest, most caring person I have ever met. I have many fond memories of Debbie. She always wanted you to be “okay”.... even in her final days when you asked how she was doing she would always turn it back on you wanting to know if you were doing okay. Her boys were the joy of her life and she was so proud of everything they did. She will be missed by many.....she brought joy to many people’s lives. Rest in beautiful lady!!!!!

I’m truly sad to hear of Debbie’ passing. My husband, Jim Marasco and myself, Wendy Moulton Marasco were classmates in high school. Jim has fond memories of Debbie when they lived near each other in Brambleridge. I have many memories also during our high school days. I wrote on Debbie’s Facebook page the time when we were at her house for an overnight party. Debbie loved M & Ms. We unfortunately combined that with cheap wine which was not a smart combination! Even though we lost track of each other after high school, her true essence of humanity and caring, I’m sure, never left her being. Jim and I want to extend our condolences to her family and friends. There is a true angel in Heaven.

This is terribly sad news. I have many memories of some great times and great conversations with Debbie over more than forty years. We shared a lot of laughs and a few tears, too. Even though we seldom saw each other when we did it was always a treat. It's hard to believe that I won't be visiting with her again. I am so very sorry for all of her family and the sense of loss and grief you must be experiencing.
