Obituary of Deborah Lynn Anthony
Canandaigua- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Anthony (Moberg) on Monday, March 23rd, 2020. Debbie is a Breast Cancer survivor and most recently had been battling Multiple Myeloma.
She is survived by her two sons; Todd and Sean Anthony; and sisters, Paula Radley and Pam Hamm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to the American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org)
In searching for words to describe her life, we came upon this quote. "A nurse is not what you do. It is what you are."
Debbie spent her life serving and caring for others. Whether it be formally in medicine or as a loving and devote mother, sister, friend, and family member. She had a way of finding where you hurt and finding a way to help you heal, whether by a hug, a smile, a kind word, or an offer to help.
We know that Debbie is in a better place now and free from pain. We know that in every warm embrace and in every selfless act, her spirit remains.
