I am so sorry to hear. Debbie always was smiling ear to ear every time I saw her, such a joy. I hope I made her smile half as much as she made me smile!
May you find comfort and peace through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences

You always would decorate the bus for all the holidays and give us treats or candy. On Halloween you always had a guessing game and who ever won got a free pumpkin from your patch and all the candy in the jar(I won it one year)! Now you get to drive a bus in the sky :) You will be missed by my family as you became part of ours. We love you and will miss you, rest easy and keep smiling it was always contagious<3 Mandy Weber

Debbie was a lover. She loved everyone and just about everything. Blue glass. Hot tub. Myrtle Beach. Broadway shows. Motorcycle trips to out of the way spots. Her convertible. The Office. The old truck. Flowers. Strawberry pies. Sunbathing and salty ocean dips. Exotic drinks with umbrellas. Jello shots. Halloween. Bonfires. Pranks. Cards anytime any kind anywhere. Parties. Parades. But mostly she loved her family, her friends, and the last person she met. Deb was a warrior, fought so hard to stay happy and be a contributing companion to Gerry and all of us. Her mind remained steel-trap sharp no matter what her words could or couldn't do in recent years. We knew Debbie since childhood. We climbed a ladder to get into her home fifty years ago when it was being built. Together, our families climbed beyond the struggle days and into good lives with good kids and good friendships. May God rest this beautiful woman's soul. Our hearts bleed for her loved ones. Which is just about everyone. She now remains eternally younger than Gerry, Patty and me, a point which she joyfully could never let go.

Gerry and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a special lady to all her bus kids and all her children's friends growing up. She always had a smile for everyone and persevered through all life's difficulties. The Kwarta family
