Deborah L. Sullivan Bloomfield- Family & friends of Deborah Sullivan are invited to attend a memorial celebration in Debbie’s driveway-party fashion, Friday, June 26th at 6:00pm, at the Bernard home, 2583 Route 64, Bloomfield. Debbie passed with her family surrounding her in love, on June 19th, after a short stay in the hospital. Debbie was 69 years young, spending her lifetime in Bloomfield, NY. After marrying her high school sweetheart and greatest love, she and husband Gerry raised two children, Colleen Bernard (Brian) and Kiley Sullivan (Amy). She treasured her grandchildren Katie, Cormac and Camden, and embraced every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and loved socializing everywhere she and Gerry frequented, making friends at every location. Debbie enjoyed a good laugh, a great game of cards and always made people around her feel special. Debbie is pre-deceased by her parents, Harry and Mary Ellen Cullinan Barnes, and is the loving sister to Jon Barnes (Karen Baker) and Jane Nielsen (Dan), plus aunt to six special nieces and nephews, and their families. She touched the lives of everyone in many ways. She retired from the Bloomfield Central School as a bus driver, who cared tremendously for all of her ‘bus kids’. Debbie was a long-time participant on Election Day as an election worker in her community, and was well known for her delicious and often shared homemade baked goods.
